Caring  for Mountain Bikes

Cycling will feel comfortable if the bike that we ride is always in good condition, how to treat mountain bike in order to maximum performance is always keep a bicycle in clean condition. Below is the way to wash a mountain bicycle in the correct way
Release
all the accessories that are in the handle bar (bar), bell, lamp, speedometer, etc. If you use V brakes, loose it with a cable connecting both sides of the calipers. Techniques to remove the cable v brakes this also applies if you use V brakes on the rear wheels.Turn your bicycle to be upside down, to avoid abrasions on the saddle and grips we can use a pad that is not too hard and soft, we can use the mat with 5mm thickness.

How to turn down a bike properly is that you stand on the side of the bike Suspension grasp the front (down tube) and one hand holding the seat post (saddle-shaped holder). Then slowly turn the bike upside down to. Then release front and rear wheels.

Clean the drive system (chain, gears, pedals, rear derailleur). Prepare a brush and soapy water. Start brushing RD with a brush soaked in soapy water, to clean the chain using a soft cloth towel, wet wipe with soapy water by turning the chain around your pedals so that the chain rotates the fore. Attach a rag on your bicycle chain so that the dirt is attached to the last wipe.
Continue with cleaning the Crank (front gear, the pedal arm and pedal) with a brush that was in the wet with soapy water, brush evenly and carefully so that all affected parts of the front drive of soapy water and grime off, then wipe with a clean cloth.
Clean the pedals and the gear side of the brush wetted with soapy water, continue to dry with a clean cloth.

Clean the bottom of the frame, use a cloth rag and soapy water. Wipe evenly to all parts of the frame, handle bars (front handlebar), the top tube (top frame), and seat ways (rear frame). Do not forget to clean the teeth and the switching cable puller brake.

Clean the system of wheels.
Use a cloth rag and soapy water front and rear wheels, you can use a liquid cleaner if the dirt is difficult to waste, eg using WD-40. Clean the dirt on the axle, wheel hubs and a whole wheel.
If you use wheel disc, brush thoroughly in all parts of the disc

Checking Wheel System
Replace the front and rear wheels, make sure the clip wheel fasteners installed good premises and can lock the wheels perfectly. Maybe we are a little difficulty to reinstall the rear wheel, rear gear input it between the chain and press down so it can go into the back seat with a perfect wheel, do it carefully.
After all the wheels attached check whether the front wheel and rear observe carefully whether or not rocking, if rocking likely spokes of a wheel needs to be re sets. You can fix it by yourself or bring it to the workshop.

Check brake system
One of the vital part of the bike is the brakes, if it can not function properly our safety is at stake. To check the front wheel brake stand in front of your bike and hit the front wheel brake, then pull the bike forward when the frame and lift the rear wheels means the front wheel brake is functioning properly, if not immediately replace the canvas with a front brake is still good.
For the rear wheel brake, stand in front of your bike and hit the rear brakes, if the front wheels broke up between your foot behind the brake may still function well, if not immediately check and replace the canvas with the new brakes.
Both tips for checking the braking system can be applied both brakes with V brakes or the brake disc. Check all of the cables or brake oil (Disc brake oil).

Lubricants
how to lubricate important parts of your mountain bike is the chain, shifters, drive system front and rear wheels (FD-RD), the pedal and pedal arm.
Use a good lubricating oil should not use the former, use special lubrication for the chain, many in the market is the lubricant for the chain motor vehicle.
